After nearly of year of searching through every aspect of President Trump’s life all the while having unlimited time, money and legal powers the special counsel led by Robert Mueller has failed to uncover the “smoking gun” to successfully topple Trump. In fact, they have yet to even find smoke, a gun, a bullet or even a shred of evidence that substantiates the Democrat’s claim that Trump “colluded” with Russia to help him with the 2016 election.
Robert Mueller’s special counsel led a surprise raid on President Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, last week and quickly seized any and all records, recordings or data that was in his procession. Donald Trump quickly responded to the raid by tweeting that “Attorney–client privilege is dead!”

While many prominent lawyers, including Harvard Law Professor Allen Dershowitz who proclaimed the raid was “really appalling” and noted a “deafening silence of the ACLU”, those on the left who have been salivating at the prospect of finding some sort of “Russian collusion” evidence to finally oust Trump from office are celebrating the jack-booted thugery of Mueller’s special counsel.
Despite the brazenly aggressive actions on the part of Mueller and his team, his move against Trump’s lawyer indicates the progress, or lack-thereof, in regards to the investigation’s original purpose which was to investigate possible collusion between Donald Trump and Russia during the 2016 election (despite the fact that “collusion” isn’t even a crime and the DOJ guidelines specifically state a crime must be investigated to start a special counsel).
If Robert Mueller had found any evidence of Russian collusion, or any crime that they could use to oust President Trump from office up to this point, then he would not be taking such a drastic step as to raid Trump’s lawyer’s properties and potentially violate attorney-client privilege, a right that up to this point was believed to be sacred and a vital part of a fair justice system. This action would indicate that not only has Mueller found no evidence of Russian collusion up to this point, but they have found no illegal acts of any sort that have any hope of damaging President Trump or initiating impeachment proceedings.
One could logically conclude that Mueller’s decision to risk casting his investigation in a negative light to both moderate liberals and conservatives by raiding Trump’s attorney’s property only indicates his complete lack of anything involving a crime involving Donald Trump.
Imagine, a year of one of the most aggressive and politically stacked special counsel’s in a generation going after a single person in the United States, Donald Trump, yet they have reduced themselves to raiding an attorney’s office hoping they can stumble upon some sort of relevant crime in which to justify their thus far wasted year.
Make no mistake, Robert Mueller’s special counsel will not end until they can pin a substantial crime on someone close to Trump, or the man himself, as when has a special counsel ever investigated anything and said, “We did our job and found no evidence of a crime anywhere.” No, they feel they must find a crime to justify the millions of dollars and thousands of labor hours flushed down the toilet at the expense of the American taxpayer. In addition, Mueller’s special counsel has the added pressure of the entire Democratic Party, the mainstream media establishment and every other anti-Trump organization who has been breathlessly waiting for a sure-fire way to undo the 2016 election.
Meanwhile, during the FBI’s “investigation” into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information on her private e-mail server she was allowed to destroy Blackberries with hammers, blatantly delete e-mails she deemed were irreverent to the investigation while many of her aides were offered immunity deals simply to perform interviews with the FBI, despite the fact that 5 of these aides lied and directed Hillary’s e-mail scrubbing operation. In fact, Hillary Clinton herself wasn’t even under oath when delivering her interview to the FBI, which I suppose makes sense from the FBI’s standpoint as then Director James Comey has already drafted a letter exonerating Clinton before the investigation was even completed, making her interview more of a formality than an integral part of a serious investigation.
The differences between how Hillary Clinton was treated throughout her e-mail investigation, in which there was ample evidence of wrongdoing, and how Donald Trump is being aggressively investigated even without a shred of evidence of a crime should be obvious to anyone by now, whether they identify as liberal or conservative.
While Democrats and their mainstream media allies may be celebrating and attempting every which way to justify Mueller’s raid on Trump’s lawyer, the reality is these same pundits would be branding Robert Mueller and his special counsel as “Nazis” if this were occurring to a Democrat in good standing such as Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, both of which have a litany of their own scandals that have thus far gone un-investigated.
As President Trump said, “Attorney-client privilege is dead”, yet an added caveat to that statement could easily be added which is: “…Only if you are a conservative or an outsider attempting to drain the swamp of politics.”
