As much as you hear the media, Democrats and even Republicans criticizing Donald Trump’s candidacy, there is also a flip side to these attacks that they actually enjoy. Donald Trump represents the “boogie man” of all the fear that the political left has been spewing to the American people for years and he has finally given them a focal point to their propaganda. Trump’s message of “America First” is like a poison to liberals, who view traditional American values that built this great country as the root of all evil.
Despite all of the claims by Democrats that Trump is a monster and the reincarnation of Hitler, they love nothing more than being able to finally have a focal point for their stereotypes of conservatives, and here are some of the reason why.
1. Trump Gives Democrats a Physical Embodiment of Racism
The Democrats have always tried to brand the Republican party and conservative movements as racists who want to oppress minorities. If a conservative politician stepped out of line with today’s media and made even the slightest comment that could be twisted into a micro-aggression, the liberal media would pounce on them so severely that their underlying conservative message would be drowned out.
This is why branding someone as racist has been so successful for the Democrats. It creates a “scandalous” image of a person, which the mainstream media is more than happy to latch on to, and will completely discredit the person’s message they are trying to communicate to voters. This has been a very successful strategy, up until Donald Trump, to destroy a person’s reputation before voters realize what they are saying actually makes logical sense. Instead, liberals will enflame people’s emotions to focus on nothing but disdain for a “racist,” who they could never in good conscience vote for.
To Trump’s benefit, the whole racist brand has not stuck to him or destroyed his candidacy, but it has been a weapon used to stick in the mind of some liberal leaning voters. Whether people believe it enough to not vote for Trump remains to be seen.
2. Trump Fits the Liberal Stereotype of the “White Male”
In the past 8 years, more now than any other time in America’s history, the dreaded white male has become the stigma for the “privileged” class to many liberals. The theory that simply being a white male grants you some sort of special access to privileged treatment in life, and that you deserve to be ostracized for it, has steadily gained steam since Obama took office. In fact, the heterosexual white male is the only human being who is not part of any “protected” minority in America. If you are female, African-American, Hispanic, homosexual or other minority then there is likely a special quota or balance in almost every major company and educational institution that grants you special privileges. Not so if you are a while male.
Don’t believe affirmative action has any negative effect on white males? I’ll tell you a personal story proving it does, at least to some extent. My roommate from college ended up managing a financial company’s sales office that held 12 employees, but there were always only 10 positions filled. I asked him about it one day and he said, “Rufus, I feel so bad turning qualified applicants away every day because they’re white. I have a quota that I can’t break, so I pretty much have to hire a minority for the last two open spots. Preferable a female minority so that helps me out with my gender quota too.” Unfortunately the area he was in just didn’t have a large population of college educated minorities, which was required for these positions, so he always seemed to have empty seats.
That’s ok though, all those qualified applicants he had to turn away can go utilize their “white privilege” somewhere else and get a job no problem. They can just go become CEOs at some major company.
Donald Trump has become the stereotypical “white male” for the liberal left. Strong, self-confident and a self-made billionaire, he is everything that the Democrats claim to despise. In their opinion, a perfect white male should be submissive, guilty and realize that his opinions are naturally always racists no matter what. Of course, everyone knows that white males just go around every day waiting for a chance to oppress a minority. Oh wait, there’s one now…sorry, I’ve got to go oppress someone…
3. Donald Trump Represents Capitalism at its Finest
What was once the foundation of American business and a point of pride for our nation is now a word of disdain for liberals, especially the far left and Bernie Sanders supporters. In fact, what was once considered the “far left” is not really so far anymore, it’s closer to the regular left since the Sander’s “political revolution.” If you think this is an exaggeration, just check out the Communist flags being waved around outside the DNC this week. Despite Bernie Sanders not winning the nomination (as Trump says, its a rigged system), he has attracted a movement of millions who support a more socialist leaning government. They want free stuff and entitlements. Free college, free healthcare and free housing. They want everyone to be the same, despite the reality that all humans have different skill levels, intelligence ratings and abilities, they all deserve to be compensated equally in the eyes of many socialists.
Donald Trump is the exact archetype of person that socialist claim are the reason for our country’s economic problems. They claim the rich don’t pay their fair share and are greedy. Well, I say if you’ve earned it, then enjoy your life because hard work pays off. However, Donald Trump still gives them a reason to hate the successful, wealthy American, because its a level of success a socialist can never reach…unless they are the brutal dictator of a socialist country of course.
4. Liberals Can Finally Use the Word Misogynist
Before the 2016 election started I had never heard the word “misogynist” in my entire life, but now I can hear it from any mainstream media source or Democrat. A misogynist is defined as, “a person who dislikes, despises, or is strongly prejudiced against women.” In case you haven’t been paying attention to the media, which I really can’t blame you for, Trump had been branded a misogynist almost immediately after he started campaigning last year. The reasons given? He made fun of Megan Kelly, had many girlfriends in his younger days and has dared to comment on a woman’s attractive features. That doesn’t sound much like a person who hates women to me, yet in today’s liberal media, simply disagreeing with a woman makes you a misogynist since you can’t be disagreeing with them for any other reason than because they are a woman.
For those who haven’t followed Trump this election season, he insults everyone equally. He is an equal opportunity insulter. But, if he happens to insult a woman or call her a name, he will quickly be branded a woman hater. The media had a field day during Trump’s comments amount women and abortion, as well as his past interactions with contestants when he owned the Miss America pageant. They especially attacked him for only re-tweeting an unflatering picture of Heidi Cruz, that apparently was the personification of woman-hating. In fact, New York Times had to distort the words of several women in a hit piece they published to try and convince America that Donald Trump is biggest woman-hater the world has ever seen. Many women quoted in this article came forward afterwards and stated that the New York Times purposefully manipulated their words to create a negative image of Trump.
Despite these attempts to brand Trump as a candidate who wants to “send women back to the kitchen,” he is still standing and actually gaining steam with female voters. He can’t be that bad, if women would band together and form the support groups WomenVoteTrump and Women4Trump, right?
5. If Trump Loses, Liberals Get to Crush Conservatism
If Donald Trump loses the presidential election this year, it will be the end of conservatism as we know it. That’s because the Democrats will utilize his loss, and his past comments, to negatively brand every Republican candidate that challenges them. They will use it as a constant example and say, “See, the American voters rejected Donald Trump and his extreme conservative policies.” Any Republican that runs for re-election will be branded a “Trump supporter,” and thus a person with ideas that have been proven unpopular with the majority of voters.
Liberals would like nothing more than to crush any dissenting opinions, especially if they in any way resemble Trump’s policies. And if Donald Trump loses, the entire conservative movement is finished. The Republican party will move to the left in politics, adopting watered down versions of the Democrat’s policies, and by doing so will isolate/discourage all of the new voters who have been drawn to the Trump movement. This will also permanently crush the conservative movement, and we may never see a traditional conservative President of the United States again.
With all the hatred that has been thrown at Donald Trump this year, which is ironic because liberals claim he represents hate himself, he remains standing and recent polls are showing him leading Hillary Clinton. I can’t begin to imagine the vicious attack ads and media articles that will be released about Donald Trump the closer we get to the November election. If Trump manages to win the election, you will literally be able to hear the screams of liberals everywhere in the country from wherever you live. All you’d have to do is turn on CNN to see tears shed by fanatic Hillary Clinton supporters.
