The day after the presidential election, which Donald Trump won fairly against all odds, protests erupted in mainly Democrat controlled cities and universities demanding that we abandon the electoral process and place Hillary Clinton in power despite her failure to win over voters.
These protests didn’t completely develop organically, however, as they had some help from one of Clinton’s top donors George Soros and his organization MoveOn.org, which posted a message to their website after Trump’s win calling for national “gatherings”.
On Friday night, protestors and Clinton fans took to the streets once again, disrupting traffic and chanting slogans against “hate”, which is ironic since they are displaying an extreme level of distain towards our democratic election system. Protesters were also yelling phrases in front of Trump Tower such as “set it on fire“, which I would imagine would result in a massive loss of human life if a building of this size were to burn to the ground. What happened to peace and love?
One protester is holding a sign with Hillary Clinton’s campaign slogan “stronger together”, although if they really believed that phrase I would imagine they would attempt to unite with the rest of the country and the millions of voters who supported Donald Trump, rather than trying to usurp our democracy.
If you think these are just harmless demonstrations, think again, as earlier today hundreds of protesters took to I-94 in Minneapolis resulting in the blocking of a hospital exit.
It’s no wonder that on election day Trump Tower had to be surrounded by concrete barriers and dump trucks filled with sand to prevent any “peaceful” protesters from assaulting the building.
If these protesters think that somehow their deepest wish will come true and Hillary Clinton will rise from the ashes and take Trump’s place as president just to balm their hurt feelings, then I’ve got a bridge to sell them.
Perhaps they should put as much energy into trying to understand Donald Trump and his appeal to millions of hard working Americans, rather than yelling, screaming and destroying property. Although this seems to be the norm in America these days whenever a certain group of people doesn’t get their way in politics, or anything really, which is a troubling sign for the future.
George Soros and other anti-Trump forces will not just pack up their bags and go home, respecting the decision of millions of voters, but instead they will continue to fight Donald Trump and his America First policies every step of the way. Trump has something they do not, however, as the people stand firmly behind him in support and are ready to help him enact his revolutionary pro-American agenda.
