It’s no secret that Hillary Clinton is not getting anywhere near the turnout in the black community as Barack Obama did in 2008, and her campaign is frantically trying to rally minorities to inject some much needed excitement into her base.
The Democrats have long had a lock on the minority vote, with Obama getting as much as 95% of the black vote in the 2012 election. Hillary Clinton has not been so fortunate, and Donald Trump has quickly taken advantage of her lukewarm support in the black community.
I fact, it’s said that the Clinton campaign is in “panic mode” over the lack of minority support in the battleground state of Florida.
Trump has reached out to voters in the inner cities with a message that following the Democratic politicians for decades has brought nothing but poverty, crime and a lack of jobs. According to the LA Times/Dornslife daily tracking poll, Trump currently has around 12% support from black voters, although he has been as high as 20% at times. If he can achieve between 15% and 20% of the black voter turnout in this election, it’s all but over for his challenger.
Pictures like these are what gives the Democrats and Hillary Clinton nightmares:
