A Trump supporter in Sacramento, California, had his Dodge Ram truck set on fire and completely destroyed while taking his 2-year-old sun fishing at a local river, all because of a Donald Trump bumper sticker.
Hao Lee had a Donald Trump supporting bumper sticker on the rear bumper of his truck and describes the incident, on a day where he and his son were suppose to be enjoying a day of fishing on the Sacramento river.
“About a couple hours into fishing I heard someone yelling out ‘F’ Trump,” recalled Lee. Himself and his son were only about 50 yards from where his truck was parked across the street along the Garden Highway.
“After that I heard glass breaking, I called 911 and a couple of minutes later I saw smoke,” and he said his first concern was the safety of his 2-year-old son, which is why he didn’t go running to his truck to see what was happening. He didn’t see exactly how the fire was started.
The fire completely destroyed the truck, making this a total lose for Hao Lee.
“This is ridiculous.” Lee said. “I didn’t think anyone would do this kind of stuff over a bumper sticker.” Arson investigators searched the scene for clues, but have so far come up empty handed.
Unfortunately, this election year has only proved the amount of hate, anger and insanity that opponents of Donald Trump can be driven too. This is a level of anger I have yet to see from Trump supporters, as I haven’t read any reports of Hillary Clinton fans being attacked like this.
Trump supporting yard signs, vehicles and even people have been assaulted throughout this election with little coverage from the national mainstream media.
Fox 40 reported on this incident:
Violence against anything pro-trump has been so bad this year, that some supporters have taken to booby trapping their Trump yard signs to deter thieves and vandals from destroying them.
