James O’Keefe of Project Veritas strikes again, this time at the very heart of the mainstream media and their never ending stream of stories involving Russian conspiracies with President Donald Trump.
Late last night James O’Keefe released an undercover video of John Bonifield, a CNN Supervising Producer who has worked for the network for nearly 15 years. This video couldn’t have come at a worse time for CNN, as only last week they were forced to retract a story that contained unfounded accusations against Trump and his associates, claiming that evidence was tying them to Russian investments when in reality the story was pure “fake news”.
Now, CNN has been exposed once again, with an undercover video by James O’Keefe that exposes the very heart of the network’s corruption and bias towards Donald Trump. For Trump’s supporters and those who brand CNN the “Clinton News Network” as well as a purveyor of fake news, the statements made in this video couldn’t have been better.
Watch as a long time CNN producer lays out an honest assessment of the Trump-Russia narrative and actually agrees with President Trump by calling the entire investigation a “witch hunt”, with “no real proof” of wrongdoing existing. As of right now, the following video has garnered over 1.1 million views on Youtube and has made its way across the major news networks.
Project Veritas Presents, American Pravda: CNN
A partial transcript is below, which reveals the most explosive contents of this video:
Bonifield tentatively accepts the premises that Russian President Vladimir preferred Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton and directed a political subversion campaign toward that end:
PV JOURNALIST: So you believe the Russia thing is a little crazy, right?
BONIFIELD: Even if Russia was trying to swing an election, we try to swing their elections. Our CIA is doing shit all the time, we’re out there trying to manipulate governments.
You win because you know the game and you play it right. [Hillary Clinton] didn’t play it right.
PV JOURNALIST: Then why is CNN constantly, like, Russia this, Russia that?
BONIFIELD: Because it’s ratings.
Bonifield indirectly acknowledges that CNN staffers viewed the president’s withdrawal from the Paris Accords as a significant error, implying that he accepts the narrative of anthropogenic global warming (ubiquitously referred to as “climate change” by left-wing and Democrat-aligned news media outlets):
BONIFIELD: Yeah, so, my boss, I shouldn’t say this, my boss yesterday, we were having a discussion about this dental shoot and he goes, he’s like, “I just want you to know what we’re up against, here.” …
BONIFIELD: He goes, just to give you some context, President Trump pulled out of the climate accords, and for a day and a half we covered the climate accords and the CEO of CNN said in our internal meeting, he said, “Good job, everybody, covering the climate accords. But we’re done with it. Let’s get back to Russia.
PV JOURNALIST: The CEO?
BONIFIELD: Yeah. So even the climate accords, he was like, “Okay, a day or so, but we’re moving back to Russia.”
Bonifield expresses cynicism of an industry whose actors often present themselves as operating in good faith:
BONIFIELD: I love the news business, but I’m very cynical about it and at the same time so are most of my colleagues. I’m not alone.
Bonifield acknowledges CNN’s left-wing and partisan Democrat biases in its conduct, and its appeal to a mostly left-wing and partisan Democrat audience:
BONIFIELD: I think that there are a lot of like, liberal CNN viewers who want to see Trump really get scrutinized, and I think if we would have behaved that way with President Obama, and scrutinized everything that he was doing with as much scrutiny as we apply to Donald Trump, I think our viewers would’ve been turned off. I think they would have felt like we were attacking him. I think our viewers, right now, and I’m not saying all our viewers are like super liberals, I think there’s just a lot of them.
Bonifield acknowledges that the Russia-related narrative amounts to a hoax driven by the news media:
PV JOURNALIST: But honestly, you think the whole Russia shit is just bullshit?
BONIFIELD: Could be bullshit. I mean, it’s mostly bullshit, right now. Like we don’t have any big giant proof. But then they say, “Well, there’s still an investigation going on.” Yeah, I don’t know, if you were finding something, we would know about it.
The way these leaks happen, they’d leak it. It’d leak. If it was something really good, it would leak.
The leaks keep leaking and there’s so many great leaks, and it’s amazing. I just refuse to believe that if they had something really good like that that wouldn’t leak because we’ve been getting all these other leaks. So, I just feel like they don’t really have it but they want to keep digging. And so I think the president is probably right to say, like, look you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun. You have no real proof.”
John Bonifield of CNN couldn’t have said it any better. He admits that Donald Trump was right to call the Russia investigation a “witch hunt” and that there is no smoking gun or real proof, everything that Trump has been saying since the Russian narrative was invented by the Clinton campaign as an excuse for their horrific loss.
Matt Drudge of the Drudge Report even tweeted the headline of this story, which is a rare move for him and is reserved for only the most important stories.
O’KEEFE STRIKES AGAIN: CNN Producer Says Russia Narrative ‘Bullsh*t’…

Donald Trump Jr. also tweeted a link to James O’Keefe’s undercover CNN video, calling it a “complete vindication” for his father.

President Donald Trump himself sent a tweet early this morning acknowledging that everyone knows CNN is “fake news”, but they are no different then the other anti-Trump outlets all parroting the same anti-Trump headlines.

As the producer says the Russia stories “are mostly bullshit” and despite the journalistic ethics and standards taught in journalism school, CNN’s bottom line is about ratings and profits. He reveals that CNN’s intense focus on Trump-Russia collusion stories comes straight from the top, and Jeff Zucker himself directed his reporters to focus on these unfounded claims.
The Trump-Russia collusion story is nothing more than fake news, and the real collusion is taking place between the media networks and the Democrats in order to oust a democratically elected president from office.
Even the Washington Post, which is openly anti-Trump and also seeking to oust him from office, published a story regarding CNN’s problems titled “CNN’s Russia story debacle came at the worst possible time for the network”
After this video and the fake news story regarding Russian investments, which resulted in the firing of 3 CNN employees, President Donald Trump should revoke CNN’s press credentials and ban them from all press events. Furthermore, a Senate Committee should be appointed to investigate and punish networks that produce “fake news” and rely solely on anonymous sources their reporting. The network has revealed themselves to be nothing more than “very fake news” and a source of extreme propaganda, all in an effort to unseat a democratically elected president.
In fact, CNN’s actions border on sedition, as their own producer admits there is nothing to the Russia stories and they have no other purpose than to attack President Trump, along with increasing their ratings. The FCC should open an immediate investigation into Jeff Zucker and his directions for CNN to target Trump and falsely report on stories of Russian collusion. Inventing stories about the President of the United States in order to try and oust him from office is not only a danger to democracy, but to everyone in the nation who still places its trust in the media.
James O’Keefe and his team at Project Veritas are the REAL investigative journalists and deserve a Pulitzer Prize for their quest to find the truth. They have revealed more corruption and lies within America’s political and media institutions than all other mainstream newspapers and cable networks put together.
As for Donald Trump and those who support him, today is yet another victory in what has been a long streak of winning, which only backs up Trump’s claims that America is going to win again after he takes office. For conservatives who have forgotten what true winning the country feels like after 8 years under Barack Obama, this is exactly how a victory for truth and justice feels like.
