You’ll be hard pressed to find many positive stories out of the mainstream media regarding President Trump’s international visits in the past weeks, but that hasn’t stopped foreign leaders from praising Trump on his efforts to build new relationships and end persistent wars.
According to Pakistani Today, President Donald Trump was given an impressive $1.2 billion worth of gifts during his first visit to Saudi Arabia.
US President Donald Trump received gifts from Saudi King Shah Salman with worth of $ 1.2 billion during his first visit to kingdom.
The gifts given by Saudi King included a precious diamond, armband made of pure gold with King Salman’s photo imprinted on it and 25 kilogram heavy sword made of pure gold with different diamonds and stones on it.
The sword is worth of $ 200 million.
Furthermore, gold and diamond made watches, worth of $ 200 million, were also gifted to Trump and his family.
A small replica of Statue of Liberty but made with gold, diamond and precious stones will also be sent to White House soon.
Meanwhile, one of the major roads in Riyadh has also been named after Trump.
A 125 meter long yacht, which is world’s tallest personal yacht as it has 80 rooms with 20 royal suits, will also be sent through US navy to America.
No US President has received these kinds of gifts before by Saudi Kingdom.
These gifts were in addition to the extravagant display awaiting Trump as he landed in Saudi Arabia, which included dancing horses, a parade and Trump also received Saudi Arabia’s highest civilian honor from King Salman, who placed the Collar of Abdulaziz Al Saud around his neck during a ceremony.
It’s important to note that former president Barack Obama, who showered the Muslim world with praise, received very little fanfare when visiting Saudi Arabia himself. In fact, his reception paled in comparison to the respect given to Trump. Even the New York Times reported “Saudis Welcome Trump’s Rebuff of Obama’s Mideast Views”.
Readers may be wondering why, after the all the derogatory comments that Trump has made regarding Muslims during his presidential campaign, would a Muslim nation shower him with such gifts?
It’s difficult for many of those with a liberal mindset to understand, but certain cultures do not respect weakness, capitulation or groveling, even if its completely in their favor. They may accept the actions, but they will never respect a world leader who portrays weakness.
Donald Trump is practically glowing with an “alpha male” persona. He has portrayed strength and resilience when fighting for the presidency, as well as against ISIS and radical Islamic terror. Due to their culture. The Saudi’s respect a man who projects this strength and isn’t afraid to challenge them.
This may seem backwards, as liberals would think that bowing down and praising the Saudi’s would cause them to open their arms in friendship, but in reality they view that bowing down as cultural weakness and submission, two traits that are not respected in Islamic culture.
By showing strength, Donald Trump has opened the doors to negotiations with the Saudi’s that would never have been possible under previous administrations. Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu summed it up perfectly when he told Trump, “For the first time in my lifetime, I see a real hope for change and peace”.
