Hillary Clinton and the Democrat’s “blue firewall” of states in the Midwest has completely broken down, as Michigan is is now firmly in the Donald Trump column.
The last time Michigan was won by a Republican during a presidential race was 1988, and combined with Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, represents a wholesale rejection of Hillary Clinton and her policies by blue collar America. Adding Michigan’s 16 electoral votes to Donald Trump’s total gives him a total of 306 electoral votes, when many pundits thought it would be Clinton breaks 300 this year.
Exceeding 300 electoral votes in a presidential election is widely considered a “landslide” for a candidate, as it means that they won a vast majority of the swing states that would usually be leaning towards their opponent. With 100% of the votes counted, here are the results in Michigan.
Although media sites are still showing Trump at 290, with the official announcement that Michigan will stay in Donald Trump’s column, they will soon have to give him the state’s 16 electoral votes, bringing him up to 306. Even election officials in Michigan stated days ago that there is ‘no reason to believe large numbers of votes will be found’ to reverse a historic Trump win in this state.
The mainstream media will no doubt be dragging their feat on updating the final electoral count for Trump, as many were holding out hope that Michigan would magically end up flipping for Clinton just so they could further give life to the anti-Trump protests going on right now (which are being funded by Clinton mega-donor George Soros and his MoveOn.org).
It’s time for the Democrats to realize that their destructive, globalist policies are not going to be well received by millions of hard working Americans, and they can no longer neglect the “white working class” who helped them win so many past elections.
