Apparently nothing sends an anti-American politician running for their safe space faster than a room full of people chanting “USA”, as congressman Luis Gutierrez was caught on camera making his escape from House chamber where the State of the Union was taking place.
President Donald Trump has never been short on pro-American rhetoric, and patriotic chants were common at every one of his campaign rallies, yet when this display of love for one’s country comes straight to the heart of Washington DC, it appears the outpour of emotion is simply too much for some politicians, particularly Democrats, to handle.
Watch as Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez leaves his seat during the chants of “USA, USA” taking place all around him, as several of his fellow Democrats pat him on the arm for comfort.
We have a bipartisan standing ovation — and a lot of “USA!” chants. https://t.co/00Kmhu7ges

Like a vampire fleeing from the sight of a crucifix, Gutierrez apparently could not stand a moment longer of such a display of love for America.
Luis Gutierrez, representation a district in Illinois that is 72% Hispanic, has long since rallied for open borders, and unlimited immigration. Gutierrez once admitted while supporting Obama’s open borders policies that, “I have only one loyalty…and that’s to the immigrant community.”
Is that Gutierrez’s ONLY loyalty, to the immigrant community, not to the AMERICAN community as a whole?
Gutierrez’s sentiment is only a reflection of a broader issue within the Democrat Party as they failed to garner support for a government shutdown in favor of DACA amnesty, which reveals the vast majority of the American voting class still support America’s culture and values, rather than loathing the country’s foundations as many in the far-left appear to.
Fortunately for America, Congressmen Gutierrez is reportedly not seeking reelection to the House seat he’s held since 1993, but is not ruling out running for future offices.
After being caught scrambling for the doors during chants of “USA, USA”, Gutierrez’s spokesperson claimed he was simply trying to make it to an interview he has scheduled on the Spanish speaking TV station Univision.
“He was trying to make it to Univision,” the Gutierrez spokesman said. “He watched the last 90 seconds on TV. It was not a protest or anything. He was just trying to get ahead of the crowd.”
However, I highly doubt Gutierrez’s interview would’ve been impacted by him at very least remaining present for another 10 seconds in the House chamber until the USA chants were complete. Fortunately for Univision, Gutierrez made it on time to denounce Trump as “explicitly racist” as expected, joining the chorus of every other Democrat after the State of the Union whose only purpose was criticize Trump in order to distract American’s from the fact that the country is getting better for people of every race, color and creed.
